15 CBA ALUMNI JOIN NCAA DIV 1 IN JUST 2 SEASONS
In just its third season, the Canarias Basketball Academy has already paid dividends to a big group of their players. 15 former CBA alumni have enrolled in Ncaa Div 1 schools over the last 2 seasons in the CBA.
The Academy is proud of the success of its alumni and follows with the same energy and enthusiasm than the first day in order to beat this historic record.
CBA announces roster for USA Tourī10
CBA Office announced today the players who will join the USA Tour´10 roster. The team will play eight games in the USA, 4 in New York City (Fordham University´s Gym) and 4 in Rhode Island during the celebration of the 12th Annual National Prep School Invitational. The team will play 8 games while in USA (January 31) and return to Gran Canaria-Spain on February 9.
English player, Abdi Sabour Ahmed, worked his best during 2009/2010 Season at Canarias Basketball Academy and now he has a Full Scholarship to the University of Oklahoma Sooners to show for it.

CBA U18-JUNIORS get the biggest win in academy history beating European powerhouse KK Union Olimpija Lublijana of Slovenia, 52-50 in the Tenerife Christmas Tournament.
MOREHEAD, Ky. - Jason Beharie, a 6-foot-9, 230-pound power forward from London, England, has joined the Morehead State men´s basketball program. Head coach Donnie Tyndall announced this week that Beharie has completed his financial aid agreement and has completed enrollment requirements to the university. He joins the Eagles after two seasons at the Canarias Basketball Academy (CBA) in Spain´s Canary Islands.

Holding true to our commitment to playing the best possible teams available, NIA Prep certainly fit that mold. Having had their starting five all sign division 1 scholarships, this would be another test for our guys.
USA TOUR - DAY 3
Our third day of the trip was highlighted by travelling to southern New Jersey and playing Apex Academy. Having produced many Division 1 players the previous year, we came into the game prepared to play a very solid basketball team.

CBA JUNIORS TAKE 1ST PLACE IN MANCHESTER!
Our CBA Juniors were crowned champions of the 3rd annual Haris Charambolous Tournament, beating England´s U18 National Team twice along the way.
USA TOUR - DAY 1
After nearly 15 hours of flying we finally arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport and immediately set off to New York City to see a Big East Conference match up between the St. John´s Redstorm and the Syracuse Orangeman at the Mecca of basketball, Madison Square Garden.
USA TOUR - DAY 2
With a good night rest under our belt, we headed off to Farleigh Dickinson University for a morning practice session where we were met by the FDU coaching staff and two of our former CBA players, Sam Fernely, from Sheffield, England and Kamil Svrdlik, from Prague, Czech Republic. Sam and Kamil are currently on full athletic scholarships to FDU and are enjoying a wonderful first season.
