CBA got off to a winning start in their first fixture at the 2012 National Prep Invitational Tournament in Rhode Island yesterday afternoon. CBA defeated NIA Prep 63 - 57. Shane Hammink posted a team high 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Backed up by Alex Rostovs 14 points, 7 boards and 2 blocked shots in 32 minutes. Today CBA are looking for back to back wins as they take on Notre Dame Prep (#3 in the Country) at 1.15pm at the Murray Center, RI.

CBA ACHIEVING RESULTS ON & OFF THE COURT
The Canarias Basketball Academy continues to grow from strength to strength both on the court as well as off. This year, 15 student athletes from the Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Holland, Kenya and Latvia have all enrolled at the Oakley College and are already delivering outstanding results in the first 6 weeks of the school year. Early test results have seen students achieving A and B grades for subjects such as mathematics, English and science.
