Ben Daniels commits to Houston Baptist University! 6´06, 190lbs, sharpshooter, Ben Daniels, has been offered and has accepted a scholarship offer to attend Houston Baptist University.
¨I´m really happy for Ben and his family. This has been a dream of Ben´s for a long time and with hard work, he has been able to fulfill it” said Rob Orellana, Director of CBA.
¨HBU has a great experienced coach in Ron Cottrell, he´s been the Head Coach for 19 years at HBU and they really like what Ben can bring to the table.¨
Ben had this to say, ¨When I arrived at CBA in September, the first thing I told the coaches was that my goal was to be able to play Division 1 basketball and now I´m on the verge of accomplishing it. It is a really exciting time for me and my family! My year has been really hard for me, I´ve worked harder than I could ever imagine but it was all worth it. Luckily I´ve been around a great bunch of teammates and coaches who helped me pull through the tough moments. If someone would have told me a year ago I would be having this opportunity, I would have told them they were crazy! ¨
