The Canarias Basketball Academy are delighted to announce that two year graduate Eliav Moshiashvili has signed a 3 year professional contract with Hapoel Holon who play in the Israeli Premier League. The 18-year-old shooting Guard has also been been a part of the Maccabi Tel - Aviv development program as well as the Israeli U16-U18 National teams. After signing for Holon, Moshiashvili said : #I am very happy that I have signed for Holon, i would like to say a big thank you to my agents, Liron Fanan and Simantov for providing me with this opportunity. But a massive thank you has to go Rob Orellana and all his staff at CBA who have really taken my game to this higher level. Its a great feeling to finally return to Israel and to sign for a team so close to home. Dan Shamir and Finnish Gershon are great coaches and its an honour to be on their team. this the start have a lot of work and have a lot to work #. When asked about this summers U18 European championships, Eliav said: #I hope to be on the final European Championships roster to help the team return back to Division A. I think that Ariel Beit Halachmi is a coach and we have enough talent to achieve this, it is the natural place of Israel Basketball Union#.
